Springfields Academy is proud to hold both Advanced Specialist Status and Beacon Status from the National Autistic Society, placing us amongst a select group of organisations recognised for excellence in autism education and support. Beacon Status is the highest level of recognition within the Autism Accreditation programme and is awarded to organisations that demonstrate exceptional autism practice whilst actively leading, influencing, and sharing expertise across the wider education and autism community.
These prestigious accreditations reflect our unwavering commitment to providing outstanding outcomes for autistic pupils through highly personalised provision, specialist expertise, and a whole-school approach that celebrates neurodiversity. The awards recognise not only the quality of support provided within Springfields, but also our role in sharing best practice, supporting families and professionals, and helping to improve outcomes for autistic children and young people beyond our own setting.
Through our specialist curriculum, therapeutic approach, expert staff, and strong partnerships with families, we create an environment where pupils feel understood, valued, and empowered to succeed. We are committed to ensuring that every autistic learner develops the skills, confidence, independence, and self-advocacy needed to thrive both during their time at Springfields and beyond.
